Abstract

This paper presents a study on the biography of an entrepreneurial personality: José Pedro Varela (1845-1879), an intellectual Uruguayan who led a national educational reform, foundation of the current public and secular system of education settled in his country. It introduces a conscientiometrical analysis and states the hypothesis of individual and group existential program, assuming the existence of possible connections between Varela’s evolutionary group and the evolutionary group of Conscientiology. The case study presented herein aims at providing those interested consciousnesses with elements for the understanding and development of the trait entrepreneurship.
